APA Solutions is proud to announce our weekly radio show “BUFFALO WORKS” every Sunday on WWKB 1520am from 9am to 10am with our President Joan Graci as the host. Each week we will be presenting to our listeners a different topic about what is going on with today’s employment world and the “New Normal Economy”. During our show we will be taking calls for questions, speaking with employers and featuring their job opportunities. Of course there is more but you must tune in… Every Monday our show will be on our website for you to listen to as well.


November 9,2008 – It’s not-for-profit week on Buffalo Works and Joan and Jean are speaking to Christine Carr, Executive Director of Computers for Children. CFC is dedicated to enhancing the learning opportunities for schoolchildren by increasing their access to current computers. July 27, 2008. How many people really do understand the different generations and how they may or may not be able to work together? Generation Works realized the need for this understanding to make the working environment successful and give employers that understanding of how to handle each generation. It is a very interesting story of how to woman came to the realization that understanding is something necessary for work places to help them become more successful. Listen

July 6, 2008. July and August we decided to talk to Employers and really get the employers perspective on what is going on in Buffalo with candidates, hiring needs and how the employers see things in our new normal economy. We started off our celebration of employers with Jeff Krysak who created the company K-Technologies. June 15, 2008. Happy Father’s Day Buffalo….Buffalo Works decided to spend this great day talking with Local High School Seniors from City Honors as well as a recent College Grad from Oswego. Being that it is June and graduation has arrived we decided to take 4 different stories of what life brings next for these 4 unique individuals all on different paths but yet facing the same questions. June 8, 2008. What better way for us to kick off this beautiful weather than by celebrating hospitality and tourism in Buffalo and what better way to do that than talk to the man that knows it all…..Richard Geiger the President and CEO of the Convention and Visitors Bureau.  Buffalo Works took this past Sunday to talk to someone who is a true blue believer in Buffalo is and how it really does work and the things we Buffalonias forget that have here. June is the Month of Education dedicated to our young as they are graduating from High School and College.  Buffalo Works compared the miles stones and required commitments needed to go through the education process from Grammar School to High School in comparison to the miles stones and required commitments to develop and maintain a career plan. May 25, 2008.  Happy Memorial Day!  Buffalo Works spent the hour taking with Guest Speaker John Moynihan who not only served his country in the Military but also as a civilian.  Buffalo Works saluted the Military for their process and structure of training strong men and woman.  These characteristics and attributes are similar to what the private/public organizations are requiring of their employees in order to be successful.
