Overview:  Our prestigious client, a global engineering and manufacturing company, is looking for that rare individual that can provide leadership and direction in continuing their compliance and business development.

Description:

Seeking a Trade Compliance Analyst who will provide guidance for all phases of export and import regulations to all segments of the business. Will ensure SSD compliance with all US export laws and regulations and ITT SDD policies and procedures. Will prepare export documentation, including license applications for signature.

1. Candidate will be working closely with programs and business development as well as freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure timely shipments and imports. On an on-going basis will be providing training to new employees, other Trade Compliance employees, functional training by position, program specific training, license and proviso training.
2. Requires a B.S. degree in Business or equivalent with 3-8 years of defense industry experience in export licensing and compliance programs.
3. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations a must.
4. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions is necessary.
5. Must have strong working knowledge of ITA and EAR regulations and be familiar with US Customs regulations, OFAC and other government regulatory agencies as necessary.
6. Experience with licensing for defense articles, technical data and defense services and working with international customers is required.
